(Reuters) - Indexes S&The P 500 and the Nasdaq hit record highs on Tuesday amid hopes that major pharmaceutical companies will begin shipping coronavirus vaccines by the end of the year, with better-than-expected data from China bolstered confidence in an early economic recovery..

Investors are closely following news of leading vaccine candidates and global shipments as pharmaceutical companies apply for regulatory approvals.

"Optimism continues to grow about the success of a given vaccine ... Global recovery is predicted next year," - told by Larry Adam of Raymond James.

By 19:00 Moscow time, the Dow Jones Index rose 1.19% to 29.991.55 points, the S index&The P 500 climbed 1.21% to 3.665.5 points, while the Nasdaq rose 0.91% to 12.309.23 points.
